Over the last year I’ve become more familiar with Indianapolis’ Fountain Square neighborhood. I once joked that it was the little place just sitting in the shadow of downtown. I was very wrong. Fountain Square is such a neat place with great restaurants, things to do, etc. It’s all packed in such a small space but the area makes good use of it.
The area has been highlighted some on HGTV’s “Good Bones,” and each time I have been through the area, many houses have been remodeled or new houses have been built on once vacant lots.
If you’ve never been to Fountain Square, it’s full of color–the houses especially! Here are some of the neat houses in the area. If your near by, drive up and down the neighborhoods sometime. Even better, rent a bike from the bikeshare and you can explore even more.
