When I finished school, I was relieved that I no longer would have homework. Funny, those things stay around. While I am not working on papers or reading assignments during my evening hours, you fill the time.
When I graduated, a good friend told me you find things to fill your time. Indeed you do.
In fact, sometimes I feel even busier than I did when I had homework.
There’s a house now to keep clean, laundry to do, errands to run, small projects that come up, finances to manage, pets to take care of, people to please and the list goes on and on.
In school, homework was my free time. So I didn’t do all these other things because I was a student. Now there’s no excuses. As there shouldn’t be. Adults can take care of themselves and their items. But it is time consuming.
