That metabolism you have right now? The one that lets you eat McDonalds three times a day and regular soda? Don’t count on that for long my teenage friend. It changes. Whether it’s when you start college or perhaps halfway through, it will unfortunately catch up with you.
Part of me says enjoy it while you can, but the other part says change eating habits now so you never have to worry about the freshman 15. It’s really not that hard, it’s just time consuming and takes lots of patience. Little things help, especially dropping out regular soda or cappuccinos. Get used to living without them, you’ll be much healthier and better off in the long run for it.
Trust me, it’s so much harder to try to lose weight AND make lifestyle adjustments.
